Outreach & Social Justice

How We Serve

Caring for the Community and Working for Change

At All Saints’ Parish, outreach and social justice grow from the promises we make in Baptism: to proclaim the Good News, strive for justice and peace among all people, and respect the dignity of every human being.

We believe faith is meant to be lived in the world. Through community partnerships, generous giving, public witness, the arts, and direct support for those in need, we seek to participate in God’s healing work for the flourishing of all creation.

Community Outreach

Supporting Our Neighbors

People in need are everywhere — in our own neighborhoods, throughout the lakeshore region, and across the world. All Saints’ responds with generosity, offering time, talent, and financial support to organizations and partners working to meet urgent needs and strengthen community life.

Our outreach includes support for local food, clothing, counseling, youth programming, children’s meals, LGBTQ+ community care, arts and cultural education, and emergency relief through trusted local and global partners.

Social Justice

Naming the Hurt, Seeking the Healing

The Gospel calls us not only to care for immediate needs, but also to notice the systems and patterns that keep people from thriving and degrade Earth’s ecosystems. Racism, gender-based oppression, economic injustice, anti-LGBTQ+ bias, and ecological destruction are not separate concerns; they overlap and intertwine in our social systems and public policy debates.

At All Saints’, we seek to name clearly the systems that harm God’s creation and prevent communities from thriving, and then — with an informed faith, energized hope, and courageous love–embody a different way to live for the flourishing of all.

Crossroads of Healing

Art, Justice, and Spiritual Imagination

Some of our deepest justice work happens at the intersections — where race, gender, class, sexuality, ecology, and economic life meet. We call these places the “Crossroads of Healing.”

Through visual art, music, community gatherings, online reflection, and public observances, All Saints’ creates space to name wounds, deepen understanding, and imagine a world transformed by love. These efforts help us engage justice not only with our minds, but with our hearts, bodies, creativity, and shared spiritual life.

Join Us in the Work

The work of outreach and justice belongs to all of us. Whether through giving, volunteering, attending an event, joining a conversation, or helping build community partnerships, you can be part of All Saints’ witness to love in action.
